Insight reports turn a group's results into one picture of the whole group. Here's how to make one. New to them? What are insight reports?
Create your report
Go to Results and tick the students you want to include. You'll need at least 5.
2. Click Create insight report in the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
3. Choose your report type: Teacher for a brief, classroom-focused overview, or SENCO for detailed analysis and intervention planning. Click Continue.
4. Choose the data to include: tick the tests you want in the report. Each one shows how many of your selected students have completed it, and a test none of them have completed can't be ticked. Click Continue.
5. Check and name your report: you'll see a summary of what you've chosen. Give the report a name you'll recognise later, like "Year 3 All Students", and click Create report.
Done! 🙌 You'll land on the Insights page, where your new report will appear as soon as it's ready (they only take about 60 seconds to generate!)
Tips
Fewer than 5 students ticked? The Create insight report button stays greyed out until you've selected at least 5.
Students who haven't completed a particular test are left out of that test's sections, but included wherever they have data.
Changed your mind halfway through? Use the back arrow. Your choices are kept as you move between steps.
Your reports live on the Insights page, so you can come back to them any time.
Click Assign test in the bar that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Pick the test and confirm.
